This little girl has stared at me from the shelf of my studio for the last 5 years. She was painted as a donation to the Humane Society and the painting was meant to go to her new owner but somehow she fell through the cracks and was never picked up. A donation will be made to the Humane Society of Baltimore from the sale of this piece.
The curve of the black tail and the tips of the ears floating on a field of grey give this painting a Miro-like abstract quality.
